Short Term Rental Co-Host
The Red Cabins has an open position for a co-host. This role will serve to be the frontline of customer service for The Red Cabins’ private properties. The purpose of the role is to deliver services that assist The Red Cabins Management team in meeting their operational objectives in creating exceptional relationships with cabin owners and a one-of-a-kind experience for the guests. This is a part-time contract and weekends are required. The compensation will be 4% of all cabins net revenue.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Handles all customer communications and relays relevant information to Property Manager
- Treat every guest with more hospitality than they can appreciate
- Go above and beyond the job description in treating the guests so good they feel like family
- Sends guests a “cabin is ready” text once the cabin has been sufficiently cleaned
- Responds to every guest request within 60 minutes in a hospitable manner
- The face of customer service for guests
- Notify the appropriate persons of any repairs, cleaning, or assistance needed
- Attitude that every problem can be solved with enough care, effort, and hospitality
- Your direct supervisor will be the Property Manager
- AWD or 4×4 vehicle and means for own transportation to tour cabins you are hosting
- Executes a predetermined process to efficiently check-in guests
- Follow the step-by-step checklist provided to you for each cabin you are co-hosting

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Willingness and desire to learn new skills
- Sincere hospitality and desire to serve others
- Must be able to work remotely and at management office if need be
- Must be able to drive to and tour new cabins you will be co-hosting
- Must have stable internet and phone service
- Must be reachable by phone at all reasonable hours
- Flexible and adaptive to change
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude during all interactions with employees, contractors, guests, management, owners, and vendors
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be 18 years of age
- 1 year of customer service, co-hosting Airbnb listings, hospitality, or equivalent experience
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Driver’s License
- Ability to convey a positive and professional image to The Red Cabins guests
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
JOB TYPE:
- Contract (Form 1099) with no benefits offered
- Opportunity for advancement
PAY:
- Base pay is 4% of net cabin revenue
- Compensation can also be based on the necessary skills presented at the time of hiring
LIABILITY:
- The Red Cabins is not liable for any damages or injuries occurring while co-host is working
SCHEDULE:
- 10:00 – 3:45 (potentially 24 hours)
- Up to 7 days a week
- Weekends and holidays required
