The Red Cabins has an open position for a housekeeper. This role will serve to maintain The Red Cabins Management’s private properties in a clean and orderly manner. The purpose of the role is to deliver services that assist The Red Cabins Management team in meeting their operational objectives in creating exceptional relationships with cabin owners and a one-of-a-kind experience for the guests. This is a part time contract and weekends are required. The pay will be a mix of hourly rate while being based off the size of the structure being cleaned.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Follow the step-by-step checklist provided to you for each clean and provide signed copy to your supervisor
  • Housekeeper provides all cleaning products, and management provides vacuum and washer/dryer
  • Sweep, vacuum, and mop all floors
  • Wash ceilings, walls, windows, and outdoor wood surfaces
  • Service restrooms and wipe down communal areas
  • Make beds and replenish linens and towels
  • Wash dishes and clean kitchens, cooking utensils, and silverware
  • Empty trash cans
  • Treat hot tubs as needed, following company guidelines
  • Ensure outside walkways remain clear and free of debris
  • Restock vendor products as needed
  • Notify the appropriate persons of any repairs needed

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to carry 20 lbs.
  • Must be able to climb multiple sets of stairs
  • Must be able to work in all weather conditions
  • AWD or 4×4 vehicle and means for own transportation
  • Flexible and adaptive to change
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude during all interactions with employees, contractors, guests, management, owners, and vendors

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be 18 years of age
  • 1-year of relevant experience (preferred)
  • Ability to convey a positive and professional image to The Red Cabins guests
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

JOB TYPE:

  • Part-time (with opportunity for full-time)
  • Contractor (Form 1099) with no benefits offered
  • Opportunity for advancement

PAY:

  • Compensation will be based on the necessary skills presented at the time of hiring
  • Predetermined structure size payment

LIABILITY:

  • The Red Cabins is not liable for any damages or injuries occurring during cleaning of the private properties

SCHEDULE:

  • 10:00 – 12:00 (potentially 10:00-4:00)
  • Up to 7 days a week
  • Weekends and holidays required
